Workplace Giving
United Way, Combined Federal Campaign, and most workplace giving programs provide the option to select a specific charity for your donation. Please remember Special Olympics Washington when donating through an employee designated giving program.

Company Matching
Many companies will match contributions of time and money made by employees to non-profit organizations. This enables a financial donation to be doubled or tripled, and it allows contribution of time to be paired with a financial contribution from an employer. Please check with your employer to determine whether a company matching program is available.

In-Kind Contributions
Contributions of goods and services add greatly to the presentation of programs and services by SOWA. In-kind needs are vast and may include food for athlete meals, sports equipment and supplies, public awareness advertisements, printing services, facility usage, and so on. Contact SOWA for further information and a current In-kind donation needs list.

Stock Donations
Gifts of stock provide a simple, tax-free opportunity to support Special Olympics. For further information, please contact your tax advisor or Special Olympics Washington at 206.362.4949 x204 or by email at sowa@sowa.org.

Estate Planned Giving
Planned giving enables a donor to arrange charitable contributions in ways that minimize after-tax cost. Donors can designate Special Olympics Washington as an estate beneficiary. Depending on the assets and the gift arrangement selected, a donor can expect to avoid capital gain tax on gifts of long-term appreciated property, retain a stream of payments for life, eliminate estate tax on property and much more. A complete brochure about Estate Planned Giving is available through Special Olympics Washington and may be requested by contacting Special Olympics Washington at 206.362.4949 x204 or by email at sowa@sowa.org.
