Breakfast With Champions
is the largest annual fundraising event for Special Olympics
Washington, a non-profit organization that provides year-round
sports training and competition for children and adults with
intellectual disabilities. By participating in sports, physical
fitness and healthcare education programs, Special Olympics
Washington athletes increase self-confidence and social skills,
improve physical and motor skills and have better success in
leading more productive and independent lives.
Objective:
To raise over
$300,000 for Special Olympics Washington programs
while educating an audience of 1,300 corporate guests and community
leaders.
Format:
Guests enjoy a hot breakfast
and a program that includes inspiring videos, speakers, and
a celebration of Special Olympics athletes and their stories
of achievement.
