Overview:
| Special Olympics Washington (SOWA) programs and services are provided at no fee to SOWA athletes and their families. SOWA relies entirely on private funding from individuals, corporations and foundations to cover the annual budget. SOWA is not a United Way agency and is not funded by local, state or federal government agencies. Fundraising events or promotions are a large funding source for SOWA and there are many that occur each year to benefit SOWA.
