Wine and Dine for Special Olympics Washington
is a fundraising dinner and auction for this organization that
provides year-round sports training and competition for children
and adults with intellectual disabilities. By participating
in sports, physical fitness and healthcare education programs,
Special Olympics Washington athletes increase self-confidence
and social skills, improve physical and motor skills, and have
better success in leading more productive and independent lives.
Objective:
Raise $350,000 for Special Olympics Washington
programs with an audience of 350 guests.
Format:
The items in the auction will showcase food and
wine, surrounded by travel, leisure, sports memorabilia and
a variety of other fun experiences. A Celebrity Chef (TBD) will
create a menu paired with Northwest wines.
