The Skagit Special
Olympics program provides ten weeks of sports training and athletic
competition, each season, for children (at least eight years of age)
and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our primary goal is to
provide a quality program of physical fitness training and sports
competition with a focus on friendship and FUN ! |

North Whatcom Special Olympics program
began in 1991 for children and adults with intellectual disabilities
who loved sports and wanted a challenge of competing with their peers.
We currently run the program year round offering competition in six
sports: Basketball, Speed/Figure Skating, Athletics (track & field),
Aquatics, Soccer, Softball, and Bowling. Our goal is to provide a
program of physical fitness with an emphasis on sportsmanship, friendships,
and FUN!! |
