Special Olympics Washington (SOWA) programs and services are provided
at no cost to SOWA athletes and their families. SOWA relies entirely on
private funding from individuals, corporations and foundations to cover
the annual budget. SOWA is not a United Way agency and is not funded by
local, state or federal government agencies.
Sponsors are recruited for a variety of fundraising and program activities
to help offset costs of the program. Sponsorship categories vary depending
