Special Olympics Washington offers sports training and competition
during the Spring Season. Beginning the end of February, coaches are
trained for the upcoming Spring Season with athlete training beginning
in mid-March. Sports offered for the Spring Season include: Aquatics
(Swimming), Athletics (track & field), Cycling, Power Lifting and
Soccer. Regional tournaments begin in mid-April and run into May,
with the culmination of the Spring Season occurring at the annual
Summer Games held the last weekend in May, at Ft. Lewis, the Weyerhaeuser
King County Aquatic Center and McChord Air Force Base. |
