Winter Season

Special Olympics Washington offers sports training and competition during the Winter Season. Beginning the end of November, coaches are trained for the upcoming Winter Season with athlete training beginning in mid-December. Sports offered for the Winter Season include: Alpine Skiing, Basketball, Figure Skating, Nordic Skiing, Speed Skating and Snow Boarding. Regional tournaments begin in early February, with the culmination of the Winter Season occurring at the annual Winter Games held the first weekend in March, in Wenatchee and the surrounding area.
