Style Guide

A brand is not only a distinct name, but a distinct personality given to an organization. It’s the communication of the services, objectives and mission and vision statements in a way that will make the brand memorable or recognizable. A brand that is communicated with relevance and originality will then have impact. Impact for Special Olympics Washington is defined as raising more dollars, recruiting more athletes and coaches, and developing and executing quality programs. The SOWA brand is communicated with every interaction, making consistency across all communications paramount. This style guide will act as a steward of the re-branding of Special Olympics Washington, by providing overall guidelines for communication from logo use to photography to colors.
