Skagit County Special Olympics Athlete Joan Good was selected to represent Special Olympics Washington and Team USA at the 2007 World Summer Games from October 2nd through October 11th in Shanghai, China.

Joan has participated in our club sponsored Spin Skagit Cycling Program for the past ten years. Joan, 41, worked for many years at Burlington Thrifty Foods and is now employed at the Mount Vernon Haggen grocery store.  She is known for her ever present smile and enthusiastic outlook.

Joan is excited about this fantastic opportunity and looks forward to the competition and meeting athletes from over 150 countries.
